I specialize in a focused set of areas—problematic pornography use and sexual compulsivity, men’s issues, anxiety, trauma, and high-achieving adults facing high-pressure living. While I can treat many mental health concerns—such as life transitions, grief, and depression, particularly among men—it is logistically impossible for any therapist to become an expert in every area of practice. Because of this, I frequently refer clients to other therapists who excel in areas I have intentionally chosen not to pursue, allowing me to maintain depth and focus in my specialties.

I’m looking to build strong, trusted referral partnerships with clinicians who specialize in:

• Marriage counseling and couples work (particularly when betrayal trauma or sexual integrity issues are involved)

• Individual counseling for spouses or partners of men I work with, especially for betrayal trauma

• Family therapy and work with children

In many cases—especially when a husband or partner is in treatment for sexual compulsivity—seeing both partners creates a clinical conflict of interest. The betrayed partner and the marriage itself each require their own dedicated specialist. When this situation arises, I want to refer clients to therapists I trust.

My promise to referral partners is simple: I value collaboration, communication, and the integrity of the therapeutic process. I want to support ethical, competent therapists so the people we serve receive the highest quality care.
